Near Torrenueva Park, you will find the best and widest range of golf tourism in all of Andalusia. The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf due to the high concentration of golf offerings in the area. Many of these courses near our apartments in La Cala de Mijas host golf tournaments. The Costa del Sol represents excellence in golf, as it is the tourist destination with the highest number of golf courses in Europe, with around 70 courses. One of the areas with the most golf courses in the province of Malaga is known as the Golf Valley: up to 12 golf courses located in the surroundings of Mijas and Alhaurín de la Torre. The Mijas Golf Valley complex is positioning this Malaga town as a benchmark for golf tourism throughout Europe, not only for the number of golf courses it has, but also for the new playing strategies it is implementing.

Some of the most famous courses that we can find in Mijas are, for example, 'La Cala Golf', which has several courses such as 'Campo Asia', 'Campo Europa' or 'Campo América'. Another complex dedicated to this sport is the 'Mijas Golf Club', which makes two courses available to golf lovers, the 'Los Lagos' course and the 'Los Olivos' course. Other courses in Mijas that should be highlighted would be 'Santana Golf', 'Chaparral Golf Club', 'Calanova Golf Club', 'Club de Golf La Siesta' and 'Miraflores Golf Club'.
